I.D.E.A. SERIES (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access)

ODEO is proud to present the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (I.D.E.A) Series, a series of online professional development workshops and panel discussion for dance educators and the dance community. Sessions will feature leaders and experts from Oregon and the Pacific NW leading the way towards a more inclusive, equitable, diverse, and accessible dance community in Oregon.

Session 3: Equity in Practice, March 6, 2021, 3-4 pm (with Oluyinka Akinjiloa, Kristen Brayson, Thomas Bruner, and Cynthia Gutierrez-Garner

Session 4: LGBTQ+, Rainbow Inclusive Dance Education, April 8, 2021 7:30-8:30 pm  (with Brittain Jackson, Phoenix Grey, and Terra Lyn Anderson)

Session 5: Dancing with Disabilities, May 8, 2021, 3-4 pm (with Alito Alessi, Corrie Cowart, and Kelly Ramis)

Session 6: The Access Divide: Socio-economic and regional access to dance, June 19, 2021 3-4 pm (with Lisa Greiner and Kasandra Gruener)

Session 7: Indigenous Dance, July 29 2021 7:30 pm (with Curtis Bearchum)
